Walls Constructed for Indianola Ice Rink

The walls and supports for the new Indianola Parks and Recreation Ice Rink have been installed at Pickard Park.

The Indianola Fire Department will fill the rink with water, and with forecasted temperatures below freezing for the next several weeks, a tentative date of December 17th has been chosen as the opening day. The ice rink is provided by a partnership with the Iowa Wild, and will be free and open to the public once it is deemed safe enough to use.
