Local musicians auditioned and were selected to be part of the South Central Iowa Bandmasters Association (SCIBA) honor band.
In the junior-senior band, the following students will perform:
Peter Larson – Pella Christian, Alto Sax 1
Jaed Van Maanen – Pella Christian, Tuba
Spencer Leovan – Pella, Clarinet
Haley Buckingham – PCM, Clarinet 3
Levi Jansen – Pella Christian, Percussion
Wyatt Van Gorp – PCM, Percussion
Hannah Bouwkamp – PCM, Flute 2
The following were selected to the freshman-sophomore band:
Callie Carlstone – Pella, Percussion
Tessa Brouwer – Pella Christian, Percussion
Josiah Smith – Pella Christian, Percussion
The SCIBA honor band will gather for an all-day festival and concert on January 5th at Ankeny High School.
