Mustang Basketball Travels to Gilbert

The PCM basketball teams hit the road tonight to Gilbert for a Heart of Iowa Conference doubleheader.

The Mustang girls’ (2-3) will look to bounce back after a 52-33 loss to North Polk on Tuesday. Regan Freland has been a constant for the Mustangs with 16 points per game. Gilbert is also 2-3 on the season and Emma Bulman leads them with 11 points a contest.

The PCM boys (2-1) had a bounce back win on Tuesday with a 78-52 win over North Polk. Reed Worth is off to a blazing start to the new season with 23 points a contest. The Mustangs will have their hands full with a 3-0 Gilbert team averaging 87 points a game.

The girls’ game gets started at 6 p.m. tonight and the boys will follow at Gilbert High School.
