The Crookston 6th grade girl’s basketball team won the Consolation Championship at the Green Wave Sports Booster Border Battle tournament this weekend. Bemidji beat Crookston 22-13 in the first round. The girls bounced back to beat Cavalier 29-17 in the consolation semi-finals and beat junior Manitoba Bison 35-18 in the consolation championship.
The team members are: Clara Cymbaluk, Maggie VonReuden, Hadley Dans, Hallie Perry, Stormy Luckow, Hillary Weber, Kambree Wangen, Alle Kollin, Zaelyn Normandin, and Annie Kollin. The team is coached by Garret & Ericka Kollin, and Katie Perrault.
