The Crookston Clay Target team had 13 students participate in the Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Spring Invitational at the Glyndon Rod and Gun Club. There were seven teams and 100 shooters competing on a cold and windy day on Saturday.

The students did very well today and adapted quite well to the weather,” said Coach Randy Prudhomme. “I was very impressed at how well they all did

Crookston was led by Jacob Biermaier with a score of 83 out of 100. Anna Heldstab was the top female shooter with a 74 out of 100.

We ended up getting last place today but we were only 17 birds away from second place. As a team if we all hit 1 to 2 more birds per round of 25 we would have been right in there for 2nd place. As a young team this is definitely an attainable goal for next year’s invitational. We ended up getting last place today but we were only 17 birds away from second place,” said Coach Prudhomme “As a team if we all hit 1 to 2 more birds per round of 25 we would have been right in there for 2nd place.
