MICHIGAN, May 18, 2025 ~ Michigan politicians across party lines gave an outpouring of support for former President Joe Biden following his prostate cancer diagnosis over the weekend.

The diagnosis found that Biden’s cancer has reached the bone, marking an “aggressive” stage of the medical condition. Democrat politicians from Michigan like Rep. Haley Stevens (MI-11) and Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) showed support on social media, along with Republicans Rep. Tom Barrett (MI-7) and Rep. Lisa McClain (MI-9). “I hope Joe’s going to be okay. I feel very bad for him,” Rep. Debbie Dingell (MI-6) told WJR. “He’s going to have to make lots of decisions, but I hope for every man that this is a wake-up call, and you need to be your own advocate. If you think something’s wrong, tell the doctor you want to check, demand that it happen, and try to catch it early.
