MICHIGAN, May 19, 2025 ~ An economic outlook from the University of Michigan shows potential struggles for automakers in the state due to tariffs from the Trump administration.
According to an article from Crian’s Detroit Business, U.S. auto sales are projected to fall by about 188,000 annually for the next 3-5 years. The sales dip is attributed to President Donald Trump‘s aggressive, yet inconsistent, tariff polices in an attempt to spur U.S. production.
