The Crookston Pirate Clay Target team turned in their best score of the season and moved up to third place in the conference to wrap up the regular season. Crookston shot a team score of 2,360.5, which is 58.5 points better than their previous best score in week two.
“The last week of competition was another great day weather-wise for shooting. We had a great showing of shooting as well. I believe we had quite a few personal bests this last week and a lot of smiles and having fun,” said Crookston Coach Randy Prudhomme. “I was quite excited to see we ended the season in third. We started the season in last place in our conference and the students worked hard all season and it shows.”
The Crookston will have a little fun on Wednesday before getting back into serious competition. ?This coming week is our Family Fun night awards night. It is a good time for all to relax have some fun shooting, win some prizes and have something to eat,” said Coach Prudhomme. “After that we head to Greenbush on May 31st for the Gator Blast Invitational Tournament with official end of the season at the Alexandria State shoot on June 12.”
