President Trump Authorizes National Guard for L.A. ICE Raid Protests

LOS ANGELES, June 9, 2025 ~ President Donald Trump authorized 2,000 National Guard members to be deployed on Sunday in Los Angeles after protests over ICE raids took place.

Police unleashed rubber bullets, flash-bang grenades, and tear gas after protestors set vehicles ablaze while blocking the 101 Freeway.
