MDOT Looking for Feedback on I-75’s HOV Lanes

DETROIT, June 11, 2025 ~ The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is looking for feedback on I-75‘s new high-occupancy vehicle lanes.

These lanes opened in the fall of 2023 in a 14-mile stretch between 12 Mile Road and South Boulevard in Oakland County, meant for vehicles with two or more occupants only during peak traffic times of from 6 to 9 a.m. and 3 to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Commuters can give their feedback on the I-75 modernization project with MDOT’s online survey.
