WASHINGTON D.C., June 18, 2025 ~ About 30 members of the Michigan state legislature met with the Trump administration Tuesday in the White House to discuss local issues.
Some of the topics discussed at the meeting included the state’s K-12 budget and the Selfridge Air National Guard Base in Macomb County, according to State Rep. Ann Bollin (R-Brighton). “It was an excellent opportunity to meet with Cabinet secretaries and talk about what the vision is for the president, (and) how it ties in for our mission for Michigan.“
